Frequently asked questions.

What can I expect during the first session?

The first session is about getting to know each other. We'll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and any questions you have about the process. It's a chance for both of us to see if it feels like a good fit.

Do you offer in-person and telehealth sessions?

Yes. I offer in-person sessions at my Pasadena office as well as secure telehealth sessions for residents anywhere in California.

What are your fees?

Individual sessions are 50 minutes long and are billed at $200 per session. Couple and Family sessions are 90 minutes long and are billed at $300 per session.

I offer a free 30-minute consultation to see if working together feels right.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can reach out via the Contact page to schedule a free 30-minute consultation. From there, we’ll discuss the next steps for beginning therapy.

What issues do you specialize in?

I work with adults, couples, and families navigating trauma and PTSD, ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, relationship and attachment challenges, family system dynamics, and the weight of depression or anxiety.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with a few exceptions as required by law (such as concerns about immediate safety). We’ll review confidentiality guidelines together in your first session.
